TV-Series
Description
Hina Sinclair escaped her wealthy family's oppressive control by running away after an argument culminated in her mother slapping her. Previously, she found refuge in the superhero show *Battle Fencer*, intensely identifying with the villain Queen Insect. She rebuilt her life as a professional Shadowverse player.
Proud, vain, and stubborn, Hina often acts rudely and intimidatingly despite her youth. Like Ren Kazamatsuri, she enjoys superhero shows but exclusively favors villains over heroes, believing embracing evil allows authentic self-expression. She admires Andrea Rondo’s plans as embodiments of the "aesthetics of evil."
Hina has pale skin and piercing yellow-green eyes. Her long hair, primarily pink with dark blue streaks on the left side and atop her pigtails, is styled in two ponytails secured by lime-green ties resembling ears. She typically wears a black kimono-style dress with an extremely short skirt and sleeveless bodice, a black choker, and a lime-green short-sleeved jacket exposing her bare shoulders, fastened with a silver zipper.
As the youngest Seven Shadow, Hina wields a Forestcraft deck focused on insect followers. Her primary strategy uses the Fertile Forest amulet to swarm Insect Larvas, triggering Butterfly Queen’s effects. A secondary tactic employs Poison Marsh to create Frozen Centipedes, reducing opponents' maximum defense to enable Hornet Raider finishers. She later integrates "Venom" series cards synergizing with the Toxic Rain amulet.
During Nekome City’s Shadowverse World Ranking, Hina bonded with Ren over *Battle Fencer* but clashed over their hero-villain preferences, leading to a Shadowverse duel where Ren narrowly defeated her. She accepted the loss and vowed to win their rematch as a Seven Shadow. Secretly, she allied with Andrea Rondo, endorsing Andrea’s scheme to inflict real physical damage via altered Shadowverse battles and Arc Ruler’s retribution against the world, motivated by her upbringing.
In the final confrontation, Hina and Andrea intercepted Tsubasa Takanashi and Ren heading to Sky Tower. During their tag battle, Hina reaffirmed her commitment to Andrea’s cause as vengeance. After Ren and Tsubasa triumphed via Digifriend evolution, Ren urged her to abandon her path. Hina refused, deeming redemption by a "hero" impossible, and chose to fall into the void with Andrea when the terrain collapsed. Both survived, hospitalized. Post-crisis, they left the hospital together as missing persons seeking new purpose. Later, Hina was observed happily watching Light Tenryu and Mikado Shirogane’s battle alongside Andrea.
