Description
Mahiro Yuki, the red-haired Lead Rapper of idol group Anthos*, stands 174cm tall with a slim build and always wears an earring in his left ear. His image color is red. He presents a straightforward, reliable, and positive personality, actively serving as the group's peacemaker to mediate conflicts and maintain harmony. His caring nature extends to self-sacrifice to protect others. Despite these strengths, Mahiro exhibits poor fashion sense, frequently wearing hand-me-downs from other members, and has unusual sleeping habits involving frequent movement and talking. He excels at cooking, especially meat dishes, and enjoys drawing, though his art style is peculiar. He harbors a significant aversion to insects.

Mahiro is the youngest son of Amagiri Hajime, president of Amagiri Production, who viewed him as a nuisance. He deeply admired his older brother, the legendary idol ChiHERO (Amagiri Chihiro). Chihiro's alleged suicide when Mahiro was approximately 16 left him emotionally isolated; Chihiro had been his primary source of encouragement after Mahiro repeatedly failed Amagiri Production's training school auditions. Mahiro's cheerful personality developed partly in an effort to emulate and please his brother. Following Chihiro's death, Mahiro experienced a period implying suicidal ideation, referenced in the lyrics of the song "STAY".

He joined the Hana-Doll Project under Amagiri Production specifically to uncover the truth behind his brother's death and expose the company's dark secrets. This mission creates internal conflict as he genuinely begins to enjoy his life and bonds with Anthos* members, leading to guilt over potentially betraying his brother's memory. Mahiro interprets setbacks within the group, such as the threat of expulsion, as deserved "punishment" for not fulfilling his promise to investigate Chihiro's death.

Within the group, Mahiro actively fosters unity, particularly during early tensions when members struggled to cooperate. His flower implantation—part of the project's method to create "perfect idols" by maximizing human potential through biological modification—fails to bloom initially, unlike some other members. This delay causes him distress and impacts his performance during location shoots. His relationships include a close bond with Ryoga Kagekawa, evidenced by their matching bracelets acquired while working on "STAY". He also shares connections with other members, such as stating he would date Chise if he were a girl.
