Description
Ikuto Kimijima is a third-year high school student ranked No. 7 among Japan's U-17 representatives, bearing the title "The Negotiator of the Court." He cultivated a tennis style called "Intellitennis." Physically, he has neatly slicked-back white hair with a right-side parting and wears glasses, often seen with his jersey tied around his waist during play.

Kimijima maintains a calm, collected demeanor and wields significant influence, demonstrated by unilaterally creating the match rota for the Genius 10 challenges. He projects an idol-like persona, appearing in a "Cola Vita" commercial and engaging fluently with fans at the beach, including offering to let girls apply suntan oil. His hobbies are reading and examining glasses, and he follows a diet regimen for advertising commitments. He favors paella and identifies French as his best subject. Regarding relationships, he views love as "strictly forbidden for entertainers," though he would choose a secret romance if necessary.

His all-rounder tennis style employs 13 specialized techniques known as "Song Lyrics," including "Water Surface," "Spiderweb," and "Castle Walls," focusing on strategic court coverage and defense. He negotiates with opponents or allies to manipulate match outcomes, such as instructing Kite Eishirō to betray doubles partner Bunta Marui and later revealing a plan to injure his own partner, Atsukyō Tōno, by targeting his knee. His U-17 stats show exceptional mental fortitude (7/7) but note deficiencies in stamina and power (4/7 each).

Key matches include a doubles victory with Tōno against Kite and Marui during the U-17 Camp Revolution, secured through Kimijima's negotiation tactics. Later, in the U-17 World Cup quarter-finals against France, he partnered with Kuranosuke Shiraishi but lost despite using his Song Lyrics for extensive defense and creating openings for Shiraishi. Kimijima sustained a knee injury in this match, leading to reconciliation with Tōno, who treated his wounds. Though aware of Kimijima's past scheme, Tōno expressed willingness to partner again.

Before the World Cup finals against Spain, Kimijima and Tōno entered the intra-ranking tournament to reclaim a doubles spot. After Tōno secured a position through Date Danji’s sacrifice, they challenged Tsukimitsu Ochi and Juzaburō Mori but lost narrowly, marking their final competitive appearance together.

Kimijima's relationship with Tōno blends manipulation and mutual dependence. He mentored Marui on dieting and posed for a commercial witnessed by Kirihara and Marui. He is nicknamed "Sansan" by Tanegashima Shūji. His connections include interacting with peers like Kite, whom he approached unsuccessfully for a doubles partnership during the intra-tournament.
