OVA
Description
Fuyuko Arimura, the youngest of four sisters, is ten years old. Her mother vanished during a Paris trip, leaving Fuyuko with no memories of her. Their father subsequently died of a broken heart, orphaning the girls. The eldest sister, Haruka, took charge of the household, halting her own life to raise Fuyuko, second sister Natsuno, and third sister Akimi.
Shaped by parental absence, Fuyuko's perspective differs from her sisters' due to her lack of maternal memories. A television report hinting their mother might be alive in Paris, working as a fashion designer, prompts the sisters and their talking dog, Junkers, to travel to France. Fuyuko actively participates in this journey. In Paris, they discover their mother suffers from amnesia caused by a car accident. She lives with a Frenchman who believes her presence helps his daughter.
Confronted with reclaiming their mother, the sisters make a difficult choice. Youngest Fuyuko experiences the conflict but ultimately supports the decision to leave their mother in France for the sake of the Frenchman's daughter. Later, Junkers secretly uses his final wish to restore their mother's memories. Subsequently, their mother visits them in Japan but returns to live permanently in France, maintaining a long-distance relationship. Fuyuko's development concludes as she accepts her mother's continued absence, finding stability with her sisters.
Fuyuko appears exclusively in the OVA "Junkers Come Here: Memories of You." Her narrative is contained within this single story.
