Wakner is a musician robot originating from the planet Mushika, known for a speech pattern resembling song, frequently emphasized by waving a stick. As conductor of the Fare factory aboard the Grand Hall of Farre—a spacecraft sanctuary for Mushikan survivors—he oversees operations. When Suneo and Gian discover disruptive black creatures (later identified as Noise) in the factory, Wakner mistakes them for intruders and forcibly relocates them underground. Recognizing the creatures' threat, he directs Suneo and Gian to deploy musical performances ("Fare") to exterminate them, though this tactic fails against the creatures' giant combined form. During this confrontation, Wakner suffers a direct attack from the entities. His musical role and conductor designation draw inspiration from the historical composer Richard Wagner.
