Description
Diluculum began as an archangel serving God in heaven. His growing disgust with God's callous treatment of creations led him to organize a rebellion. This rebellion failed, leaving Diluculum, his lover Eleonora, and their comrade Dentro as the sole survivors. God banished them and inflicted a curse of rapid aging.

Cast out, Diluculum, Eleonora, and Dentro forged Felicidad in the underworld as a sanctuary free from God's influence. They populated it with denizens capable of magically farming monsters. Eleonora succumbed to the divine curse, aging rapidly until death. Seeking to preserve her vital connection to the Elemental Spirits—entities essential for Felicidad's stability—Diluculum absorbed her soul, inadvertently transferring the curse to himself. Consumed by grief and vengeance, Diluculum resolved to amass the power necessary to kill God. He established the Oración Seis, an elite group of Farmagia generals, assigning each to rule a continent perched atop massive monsters serving as landmasses. Unbeknownst to them, their primary purpose was escalating monster production, as Diluculum required harvested souls to rejuvenate himself and fuel his rebellion.

To accelerate soul production, Diluculum faked his death from old age. This enabled Glaza, the Oración Seis leader, to seize power and instigate a continent-wide war. The resulting conflict generated vast numbers of souls for Diluculum to absorb, including those of the defeated Oración Seis generals. He later resurrected the generals as demi-beasts to sow chaos, furthering his plans. In the anime adaptation, Diluculum absorbs Eleonora's soul solely in a desperate bid to save her, omitting the motivation of preserving the Elemental Spirits or Felicidad's stability.

Diluculum's endgame culminated in the "Grand Harvest Festival," a spell designed to reap every soul in Felicidad. He successfully cast it after absorbing Dentro's soul, unaware that Dentro's aged state stemmed from the same divine curse. This oversight weakened Diluculum, allowing the protagonist Ten—empowered by friendship—to defeat him. Ten subsequently restored all lost souls and Felicidad itself. Diluculum consistently manipulated others through psychological tactics, exploiting ambitions and egos to pit subordinates against each other. His initial compassion twisted into ruthless pragmatism, viewing even his closest allies as expendable tools for his vendetta against God.
