Description
Murata, an office worker grappling with work-related exhaustion, frequents Chiba MotorSuns Stadium to alleviate stress from his demanding job. The baseball ballpark offers him solace and escape. During a visit, he encounters Ruriko, a beer vendor, and becomes her first regular customer through repeated interactions. Though frequently teased by Ruriko during her shifts, he develops an appreciation for her confidence in performing job duties.

His observations extend beyond their exchanges; he notices a duality in Ruriko’s behavior—her professional demeanor with customers contrasts with a more innocent side revealed when she believes herself unobserved. This contrast holds his ongoing attention during stadium visits.

Murata’s engagement with the ballpark deepens through encounters with other attendees and staff, including witnessing positive interactions between personnel and lost children. These experiences reinforce the stadium as a place of community and relief from daily pressures, consistently serving as his refuge. The baseball atmosphere and human interactions provide him regular emotional respite.
