Riku runs a small city bakery. Each evening, he prepares dough, leaves it to rest, and departs for the day. His departure coincides with a thief breaking in to steal from the cash register. This disturbance inadvertently awakens anthropomorphic dough characters resting in the refrigerator. Riku is absent during the ensuing events involving these "Baby Bread" characters and the thief.
