Rescued as an infant by her father's strategist, Raible, she lived hidden within Castle Altea for fifteen years. Raible and senior court lady Hys raised her, attempting to enforce royal decorum, though Farla often rebelled against their overbearing guidance.

Her life shifted when five Earth escapees from Galra captivity arrived. Following the original Blue Lion pilot Takashi Shirogane's death from wounds inflicted by the witch Honerva, Farla volunteered to pilot the Blue Lion, defying Raible and Hys's objections about the danger. She temporarily commanded the Black Lion once, indicating her expanding role. While her royal duties beyond military action saw limited exploration, protecting Altea's survivors remained her core commitment. Her journey concluded with continued participation in the campaign to dismantle Galra dominance.
