Description
Isamu Kurogane, nicknamed "Moody", hails from Japan on Earth. He trained at Tokyo's Fuji Space School alongside his future teammates before departing on a space voyage. Returning around 1999, they found Earth devastated by nuclear war and were captured by the Galra Empire. Enduring gladiatorial combat in Emperor Daibazaal's arena, they eventually escaped to the planet Altea.
On Altea, Isamu and his companions were selected to pilot the five robotic lions forming the mighty sentient robot GoLion, the sole weapon capable of opposing the Galra. Isamu piloted the Red Lion, which forms Voltron's right arm, wearing a blue uniform.
