Description
Kuon Aikawa is a supporting character in Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Deluxe-hen who was originally introduced in Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Season 2. He is a classmate of the series protagonist Akina Myoudou and is publicly recognized as a genius high school student. Kuon possesses a distinctly mysterious and elusive aura, often making him appear calm, composed, and difficult to fully grasp. His primary motivation stems from an intense intellectual curiosity that seeks knowledge extending beyond the boundaries of the universe, and he cherishes a personal dream of one day traveling to the distant Planet Cray alongside Suou Yobitsugi.

Within the Deluxe-hen storyline, Kuon appears after the conclusion of the Fated Clash, immediately displaying a powerful interest in both Akina and Suou and hinting that the larger conflict is far from over. He is one of the owners of the Destined One cards, which connects him directly to the cardfight mythos and qualifies him as a participant in the Deluxe tournament. During a school festival, he was seen managing a Vanguard Café in a soft suit and notably stepped in to restrain Suou when the latter was agitated, showcasing his level-headedness and a protective, guiding approach toward his peers.

Kuon’s key relationships center on Akina and Suou. As Akina’s classmate, he operates within the same everyday environment and appears to acknowledge Akina as a noteworthy fighter. The bond with Suou is particularly pronounced; Kuon openly states a wish to reach Planet Cray together with Suou, indicating a shared aspiration or deeper connection between them. In battle, Kuon wields a Stoicheia deck built around the Destined One of Infinity, Levidras. His playstyle is strategic and resourceful, utilizing Infinity Eyes markers to either enhance his own rear-guard units or weaken his opponent’s forces. The deck also permits multiple attacks from the back row, giving him a flexible and unpredictable offensive approach. As the events of Deluxe-hen unfold, Kuon’s enigmatic nature and his role in the grander narrative continue to develop, reinforcing his quiet yet intriguing presence.
