Description
Akuma Shōgun began existence millions of years ago as Goldman, a primordial Perfect Chōjin. He and his brother Silverman trained under The Man until Goldman rejected enforced immortality. Their legendary clash ended in mutual decapitation, binding Goldman's soul to the Golden Mask.
Millennia later, Goldman's spirit bargained with Satan, transforming into Akuma Shōgun (Devil General) to lead the Devil Chōjin. He masterminded invasions against Justice Chōjin, stealing the Golden Mask to cripple them and merging the Six Devil Knights into his own form. His armor bore a silver helmet with three horns, long blonde hair, and the Devil Chōjin insignia. He wielded lethal techniques like Hell's Guillotine and the Nine Point Seal.
Ruthlessly executing failed subordinates like Ashuraman, Akuma Shōgun manipulated his body's Chōjin Hardness, shifting between the invulnerable Diamond Body (Hardness 10) and the flexible Snake Body (Hardness 0). A crack in his helmet revealed his Goldman identity during battles against Buffaloman and Kinnikuman.
Defeated by Kinnikuman's Kinniku Driver, Akuma Shōgun expressed remorse. Centuries later in *Kinnikuman Nisei*, he attempted resurrection by possessing Meat but was stopped. His personality evolved in the *Perfect Origin Arc*; opposing The Man's immortality yet remaining loyal to the Devil Chōjin cause, he mentored Sunshine as his successor and allied with Justice Chōjin to eliminate the remaining Perfect Origin, seeing their eternal rule as stagnation.
Akuma Shōgun ultimately defeated The Man, sparing his life and imprisoning him in the Chōjin Graveyard to end further immortalities. This act reflected his belief in generational change, even as he maintained leadership of the Devil Chōjin.
