Description
Polarman, a polar bear-themed Perfect Chojin, serves in the elite Perfect Large Numbers commanded by Strong the Budo. Hailing from Norway, he possesses a Choujin Kyoudo of 72,000,000. His imposing stature reaches 278 cm (9'1") and weighs 325 kg (716 lbs). His distinctive appearance features a polar bear costume with a cape, gloves equipped with retractable claws for combat, and mismatched boots: one standard boot and the other resembling a polar bear's leg. The nature of his polar bear head – mask or actual head – remains ambiguous.
Polarman's journey to becoming a Perfect Chojin began by traveling to Mount Saint Parfait, where he impressed Mirageman and underwent transformation. His loyalty, persistence, and combat skill earned him a place within the Perfect Large Numbers, adhering strictly to their rules.
During the Perfect Origin Arc, Polarman joined the Perfect Large Numbers' assault on Earth, targeting Justice Chojin. He entered combat at the Tottori Sand Dunes tournament, facing Warsman on the seventh step. Seizing an opportunity when Warsman was distracted by news of Robin Mask's death, Polarman attacked from behind. Warsman countered, triggering an extended clash where Polarman broke Warsman's Bear Claws, gaining dominance through raw strength. He employed techniques including the Polar Nail (ポーラネイル), Backhand Nail Blow (バックハンド・ネイルブロー), Wind of Mt. McKinley (マッキンリー颪), and Bear Storm Hold (熊颪固め).
Despite his initial advantage, Warsman rallied through Yuujo Power (Friendship Power). Polarman was ultimately defeated after Warsman executed the Tower Bridge and Palo Special holds. Incapacitated with broken arms, Polarman requested death. Warsman refused, but Nemesis executed Polarman by impaling him with his own Polar Nails and discarding his body into the sands alongside Robin Mask's remains.
His known techniques also include the "Perfect Power" Wind of Mt. McKinley (<完力>マッキンリー颪), Mask Hunt Nail of Judgement (審判の仮面狩りネイル), and Busters' Docking (バスターズ・ドッキング). Polarman held the title "Perfect Power," though specific win/loss statistics are unspecified. His character arc concludes with his death in the Perfect Origin Arc (2011 manga), with no appearances in subsequent official media, spin-offs, movies, or OVAs.
