Description
Benwood commands the Finis Adventurer's Guild as its Master, managing promotions, demotions, and rule enforcement. His imposing frame—muscular and grey-haired with a full beard—defies his years. He dresses practically in a great jacket, brown trousers, white shirt, and undervest.

Once a celebrated adventurer in the legendary party "Anubis," Benwood battled the Achromatic Darkness alongside comrades Saga Feldio, Mamal, and an unnamed warrior. He warned Saga their seal on the entity would fail, though Saga trusted future generations to prevail. Post-retirement, Benwood ascended to guild leadership, appointing Mamal as his deputy.

Beneath his fundamentally good heart lies ironclad justice and zero tolerance for wrongdoing. He assesses individuals on merit and character over rank, earning widespread respect. Yet he crushes arrogance or immorality ruthlessly—exemplified when he punched racist Simon Berkley of Thunder Pike across the room, demanding a public apology to avert expulsion. Later, he arrested nobleman Besio Salas for illegal artifact use, trespassing, and attempted enslavement.

His history forges key bonds: Saga Feldio was his closest comrade, and he trusts Saga’s nephew Yuke implicitly. He shows compassion to Jamie Osen, shortening her adventuring suspension post-Thunder Pike’s dissolution and offering her receptionist work, recognizing her integrity despite her party’s crimes. Conversely, he despises Thunder Pike (excluding Jamie) and Besio for their entitlement and crimes, compiling evidence to ensure their punishment.

His physical prowess remains undiminished—evidenced by knockout punches and pinpoint thrown-weapon accuracy—paired with sharp intellect guiding his guild strategies.

Throughout events, Benwood unwaveringly upholds guild integrity and adventurer welfare. He shields Clover from Thunder Pike’s blackmail, adjudicates Jamie’s case with nuance, and neutralizes threats like Besio, cementing his role as the community’s moral anchor.
