Description
Gen Kinokura, 34, finds profound peace in solitude and solo camping, seeking refuge in nature away from cities. He possesses extensive camping expertise, including survival skills, equipment knowledge, and a deep appreciation for quiet natural settings. During one solitary trip, he encounters Shizuku Kusano, a 20-year-old novice camper left unprepared after falling into a river. Gen rescues her but immediately attempts to send her home to reclaim his solitude. Shizuku refuses and secures her stay by falsely accusing him, coercing him into an unwilling mentorship where they camp "solo" together.

Initially resistant to sharing his space, Gen gradually accepts Shizuku's presence as she assists with camp tasks. Her cooking, in particular, becomes a recurring activity during their trips. Gen reacts expressively to these meals, sometimes displaying visible emotional responses like near-tears appreciation. Through repeated outings, their dynamic evolves from coercion toward cooperation, with Gen sharing practical camping knowledge and techniques.

Gen maintains a preference for solitude throughout their interactions, though he develops a tolerance for Shizuku's company during their shared experiences. His core identity centers on camping expertise and a grumpy, reserved demeanor. Subtle shifts toward mentorship occur organically through repeated exposure to Shizuku's persistence and eagerness to learn.
