Sue is a freckled teenager living in post-amnesia Los Angeles as part of a tribe that reveres a Construction Mech as a deity demanding human sacrifice. This tribe formed after a global amnesia event erased human knowledge and collapsed societal structures. Her father, Little John, tries to shield her from being sacrificed as the mech's bride.

Aided by travelers Wataru and Sophia, Sue initially escapes with Little John. She later chooses to return voluntarily to her tribe to prevent another woman from being sacrificed in her stead, demonstrating concern for her community. Sue meets her end amid the conflict during the Construction Mech's destruction.

Like others affected by the global amnesia, she experiences memory loss and lives within this newly formed tribal structure.
