Description
Born on September 9, 2014, at Grace Field House, Isabella spent her early childhood there before transfer to an adjacent plantation. Under Mama Sarah's care, she formed a close bond with orphan Leslie, who composed a special song she cherished. Leslie's shipment and death triggered profound grief, driving Isabella to attempt escape by scaling the perimeter wall. Discovering an insurmountable cliff beyond shattered her hopes, leading to apprehension by her Mama. Facing shipment at age twelve, Isabella chose to train as a Mama, motivated by surviving longer than anyone else and honoring Leslie's memory. During training around age nineteen, she underwent artificial insemination, becoming pregnant and often singing Leslie's song to her unborn child. The infant was taken shortly after birth, and she was appointed Mama of Grace Field Plant 3, the youngest ever selected. Years later, on January 15, 2040, she overheard Ray humming Leslie's song and realized he was her biological son. Horrified by this revelation, she accepted Ray's proposal to act as her informant in exchange for delaying his shipment and providing requested items.

As Mama, Isabella meticulously crafted a persona of warmth, patience, and affection toward the orphans, ensuring their lives were filled with nutritious meals, play, education, and comfort. This facade masked her detached acceptance of their ultimate fate as livestock for demons. Her true nature was calculating, manipulative, and ruthlessly pragmatic. She prioritized the farm's prestige and her survival above all, employing surveillance, psychological pressure, and physical coercion—including breaking Emma's leg—to control the children and prevent escapes. She viewed providing a blissfully ignorant, comfortable life until shipment as her form of twisted love, believing escape was impossible and resistance meant pointless suffering.

After Conny's shipment on October 12, 2045, Isabella discovered Conny's left-behind stuffed rabbit, deducing children had witnessed the truth. She enlisted Sister Krone for additional surveillance and leveraged Ray's espionage to monitor Emma and Norman's escape plans. Despite consistently anticipating their strategies, including their wall-scaling attempt, she ultimately failed to prevent fifteen children, including Emma and Ray, from escaping. In the aftermath, she admitted defeat, expressed genuine sorrow, and wished them safety and future happiness. She then shifted focus to caring for the remaining children, including Phil.

Despite the mass escape, Peter Ratri and demon authorities promoted Isabella to Grandmother of Grace Field, holding the previous Grandmother Sarah responsible. Isabella accepted the position but secretly planned to betray Ratri from the outset, anticipating the escapees' return to rescue younger siblings. As Grandmother, she prioritized dismantling the farm system and achieving personal freedom. To maintain Ratri's trust, she performed acts of apparent cruelty toward recaptured children, such as breaking Nat's fingers and feigning enthusiasm for their disposal, as a calculated ruse. During the children's assault on Grace Field, she rallied the Mamas against Ratri, aiding the revolution. In the final conflict against resistant demons, she sustained mortal wounds protecting the children. Facing death, she apologized for her actions as Mama, expressing deep regret and gratitude that they still called her "Mom."
