RiN manifests as one of the five Aurora goddesses governing a floating city soaring above a post-apocalyptic Earth. Within this society, men are marginalized as "otaku" and confined to the city's lower levels. RiN enforces her authority from a disco building, surrounded by loyal followers.

Her past involves arriving on Earth with the other goddesses under Maria's guidance, tasked with finding a man capable of defeating encroaching darkness. Amnesia led her and her sisters to impose oppressive rule. RiN demands the protagonist demonstrate specific qualities for recognition. To approach her, the protagonist must first acquire three armor sets to endure her bodyguards' assaults. RiN then requires a demonstration of "beauty," compelling the protagonist to procure and present a specific set of clothes.

After the protagonist fulfills these tasks and defeats her in battle, RiN regains her lost memories. She recalls the goddesses' true mission and acknowledges the protagonist's vital role. Following her defeat, she provides a plasma crystal, granting access to spells necessary to awaken the remaining goddesses. Her restored awareness shifts the narrative toward the broader quest to save the world.

RiN is also integral to the idol group "Aurora Gonin Musume" (Aurora's Five Daughters), formed around the five goddess characters. This group released the single "Cool Love" in 1993, defining her identity within the franchise's multimedia presence.
