Description
Denden operated a shop frequented by Inyo and Zero, whose visits consistently cost him money. Inyo's manipulative bargaining tactics—staging accidents and deploying emotional ploys—forced Denden into granting steep discounts, fueling his growing exasperation.
Driven by tales of Magmell's riches and a need to flee their exploitation, Denden shuttered his store. He poured savings and loans into repeated voyages toward the newly emerged continent. Each attempt—a three-wheeled bicycle, a boat, a hang glider—met sabotage by Inyo and Zero: they tampered with the bike's brakes, sank the boat with a grenade, and twisted wind patterns to down the glider. Denden finally reached Magmell by accident, hidden in a livestock transport truck.
Arrival plunged him into immediate danger, leaving him half-buried and immobilized. As a colossal turtle monster advanced, regret over abandoning his shop seized him. Inyo intervened, rescuing him from the creature. After this near-fatal encounter, Zero voiced a desire to revisit Denden's store.
