Description
Momo, whose real name is Momose Sunohara, is the energetic and cute member of the idol duo Re:vale alongside his partner Yuki. He stands 173 centimeters tall, weighs 63 kilograms, and was born on November 11, making him 25 years old during the events of IDOLiSH7 Second Beat. His blood type is O, and he enjoys outdoor activities and driving, though he struggles with keeping things tidy and doing housework. Momo is widely described by those around him as someone who can make others happy simply by being present. He presents a carefree and mischievous exterior, often teasing his juniors and playing the boke, or comic fool, in his and Yuki's signature married couple comedy routine. Beneath this lighthearted facade, however, lies a remarkably kind, observant, and intelligent individual. He is deeply attuned to the emotions of those around him and will go to great lengths to protect and support the people he cares about, sometimes at the expense of his own well-being. His motivations stem from a life-changing experience: after a high-school soccer injury ended his dream of becoming a professional player, he was taken by his older sister to see an early performance of the original Re:vale. That concert reignited his passion and set him on the path to becoming an idol. As a later addition to the duo after the original partner left, Momo secretly struggles with insecurity about his own worth, believing he does not fully deserve to stand alongside Yuki. During IDOLiSH7 Second Beat, his role expands as Re:vale takes an interest in the younger group IDOLiSH7, and Momo becomes a supportive senior figure, offering guidance and encouragement. His key relationships include his deep bond with Yuki, whom he prioritizes and wishes to protect above all else, and his caring mentorship of the IDOLiSH7 members, especially Mitsuki Izumi with whom he shares outings. Notable abilities include his sharp observational skills, his talent for defusing tense situations with natural brightness and kindness, and his versatility as a variety-show host and entertainer. His music symbol is the left repeat sign, and he represents the number one hundred. Over the course of the series, Momo's development involves learning to accept his own place in Re:vale and to rely on Yuki and others in return, moving beyond his tendency to worry alone.
