Description
Hibiki, an eighteen-year-old male with raven-black hair and hazel eyes, dresses in a blue hoodie and black shorts, his noise-canceling headphones a constant shield against the auditory hypersensitivity diagnosed in childhood. This sensitivity triggered withdrawal from social interactions, leaving him communicating only with his mother and later Uta. During his second year of middle school, he visited Tokyo Tower amid the "Falling of the Bubbles" event, where Uta’s song uniquely bypassed his auditory discomfort. Their meeting inadvertently collapsed the tower, orphaning him and flooding Tokyo with anomalous bubbles.

In the disaster’s aftermath, Hibiki joined the Blue Blazers, a parkour team operating in Tokyo’s restricted zones. His athleticism, augmented stamina, and rare ability to manipulate bubbles into stable platforms or navigate gravitational distortions made him indispensable. These skills proved critical in resource competitions, securing the team’s survival. Five years post-collapse, a fall into the ocean reunited him with Uta, whose form emerged from his exhaled breath and bubbles. Though initially impatient and socially awkward, he gradually bonded with her through shared parkour training, revealing guarded emotional layers.

Hibiki’s childhood involved institutional care for his hypersensitivity, hinting at a neurodiverse background. Sound design accentuated his pain from harsh noises, starkly contrasting Uta’s harmonizing voice. Their relationship grew protective yet tense, as physical contact threatened her dissolution. A climactic ascent to Tokyo Tower’s peak ended with Uta sacrificing herself to stabilize the gravitational collapse, devastating Hibiki. He channeled grief into resolve, continuing parkour while clinging to a residual bubble fragment as a memento of her influence.

Reserved yet compassionate, Hibiki risked his safety for teammates and mentored younger recruits. Occasional frustration, especially toward Uta’s inquisitiveness, often led to remorse and earnest apologies. His bond with Shin, the team’s mentor, mirrored a father-son dynamic, balancing mutual respect with communication barriers. Growth from isolation to tentative vulnerability defined his arc, spurred by Uta’s impact.

Beyond parkour, his physical prowess included heightened strength and endurance, sustaining athletic feats amid unstable gravity. Precision bubble manipulation enabled strategic advantages, from creating pathways to redirecting momentum. His auditory sensitivity, initially isolating, became a bridge to perceive Uta’s song, intertwining his condition with the catastrophe’s pivotal events.
