Description
Violence Jack stands between 7 and 12 feet tall, boasting a frame of gorilla-like musculature, wolf-like fangs, and wild shaggy hair. His eyes blaze with fiery energy reminiscent of the Big Bang. He typically wears ragged, tattered clothing, his yellow scarf the only consistent garment. His signature weapon is an oversized jackknife, approximately 40 cm long, the source of his name. Jack possesses superhuman strength, agility, and an accelerated regenerative healing ability enabling near-instant recovery from severe injuries.

He manifests in three distinct forms:
* **Standard Form:** His most frequent appearance is a 2.5-meter-tall male wielding the jackknife, capable of immense feats like hauling anchors or battling large groups single-handedly.
* **Lady Jack:** A female form marked by physical prowess and minimal clothing, who wields a whip or blades. She can morph her cloak into animals and briefly transform into an elderly woman. This form once detached her own leg, transforming it into a rabbit to escape.
* **Kid Jack:** An adolescent male form depicted as exceptionally muscular and resilient. He employs blades or bows, interacts with younger characters, and appears in scenarios involving mature themes.

Jack's origins are intrinsically linked to the *Devilman* universe. He is the reincarnation of Akira Fudo, fused with the demon Amon, resurrected after the apocalyptic "Great Kanto Hellquake" devastates Japan. This cataclysm isolates the Kanto region, turning it into a lawless wasteland ruled by warlords and gangs. Jack emerges from the rubble shortly after the disaster, initially devoid of past memories. His existence serves as divine punishment against Satan (reincarnated as Ryo Asuka), subjected to humiliation by the warlord Slum King. The three forms represent fragmented aspects of Devilman; merging them restores Akira/Devilman for the final confrontation with Satan.

In *Violence Jack 3: Hell's Wind*, Jack awakens after the biker gang Hell's Wind attacks "Hope Town," a settlement built by survivors. The gang abducts women and terrorizes residents, prompting Jack's intervention. He allies with Jun, a woman seeking vengeance for her murdered lover, and Saburo, a local boy, to confront the gang. Jack combats the gang's leader Dante and other members, utilizing extreme violence to protect the town's remnants.

Jack consistently channels brutality as his primary solution, rarely speaks, and shows no concern for collateral damage or bystander safety. Despite this, he selectively aids vulnerable individuals, such as defending orphans or oppressed communities, and empowers others toward self-reliance. His interventions typically occur only after observing victims demonstrate their will to survive. This reflects his view of the post-apocalyptic world as a domain where only strength ensures survival, positioning his violence as a necessary counterforce against greater evils.

Narratively, Jack functions as an agent balancing light and darkness in the reconstructed world. His battles against entities like the Slum King and other warlords gradually tip the scales against Satan's dark influence. His ultimate purpose culminates in merging his three forms into Devilman to permanently defeat Satan, ensuring the world's continuity before disappearing.
