Description
Keiko attends Shirobara Private High School as a member of Class A, forming a trio with friends Rinko Nikaido and Tamaki Maekawa. She regularly supports wrestling matches as a spectator alongside them, though her background diverges between adaptations.
In the manga, Tamaki bullies Keiko and extorts money from her. Pressured to deliver 30,000 yen, Keiko steals from her mother and considers compensated dating. She accepts a date with a man offering 40,000 yen—revealed as the villainous wrestler The Rigani in disguise. Rinko intervenes, leading The Rigani to confront Mantaro Kinniku, highlighting Keiko’s vulnerability and dependence on allies.
The anime depicts Keiko and Tamaki as close friends from the start. During Mantaro’s match against Tel-Tel Boy, Mantaro mistakes Rinko’s call to Keiko as encouragement. Later, against Check Mate, Keiko deduces Rinko cast a solitary vote for Mantaro, though Rinko denies it.
Keiko spectates the Chojin Olympics: The Resurrection Arc. Wrestler Wash Ass selects her as an unwilling partner for the Three-Legged Race, securing his tournament qualification. She remains a spectator afterward, supporting Mantaro.
During the Poison Six Pack Arc, Keiko becomes the group’s second hostage. Wrestlers Gazelleman (Dik-Dik Van-Dik) and Seiuchin (Wally Tusket) rescue her, with Seiuchin catching her physically.
In the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament Arc, Keiko stays in the present timeline while Rinko travels back in time. Consistently, she cheers for Team AHO with Rinko and Tamaki as a dedicated wrestling fan. Her name combines "恵" (kei, "favor/benefit") and "子" (ko, "child").
