Description
Fukuko Manda is the president of Manpuku Geinō Production, a talent agency facing significant challenges. To revive the agency's fortunes, she spearheads the "Mature Idol Project," forming the Eternal Boys group. This initiative specifically recruits middle-aged men confronting various life obstacles, aiming to demonstrate that new beginnings and success are achievable regardless of age. Her determination to stage the agency's comeback drives the central narrative.
Manda oversees the agency's operations and manages support staff. This includes Pepechan, a popular talent cat affiliated with the company; Ren Ukita, a child actor under the agency's management; and Nicolai Asakura, who serves as a chauffeur while also working at the izakaya Shoppe. Her leadership involves coordinating the training, development, and public appearances of the Eternal Boys, navigating the difficulties inherent in promoting this unconventional idol group within the entertainment industry.
