Description
Momo Uraraka hails from the Nature Civilization, sent as an infant to the human world by her mother, the Nature Queen, for protection from homeland conflicts. A human couple discovered her in a spring cherry blossom field, encountering an illusion of her birth mother entrusting Momo to their care. Adopted as "Momo Uraraka," she grew up unaware of her creature heritage or royal lineage, raised lovingly by her human parents.

She exhibits an energetic, curious, and occasionally obsessive personality, often starting sentences with "Momomo~" and referring to herself in the third person as "Momo." Her intense focus on Joe Kirifuda manifests in ways others find unsettling. Joe affectionately calls her "Momo-Chan." A defining passion is smartphone photography, frequently leading her into peril—hurtling into supernatural zones like a rogue spirit's pumpkin field or attempting to photograph hostile Duel Warriors like Kiradon, resulting in petrification. Rescues by Joe or allies are common.

Her origins unravel during the Twinpact Arc when Gaiahazard attempts to return her to the collapsing Nature Civilization. Confronted with her royal lineage and her mother's inability to rule, Momo accepts her destiny as princess. To prevent conflict between Joe's group and her guardians, she uses innate powers channeled through her butterfly pendant—a symbol of her status and power source—to intercept a duel and agrees to restore balance to her birthlands. Before departing, she erases all traces of her existence from non-Duel Masters' memories to preserve equilibrium, spending a final birthday with her adoptive parents. Joe, Boltz, and Kira attend her Nature Civilization coronation, where Joe gifts her a keepsake.

In subsequent arcs, Momo balances royal duties with human world ties. During the Gacharange Arc, she investigates Nature Civilization droughts with Gaiahazard, enlisting Joe's aid to temporarily restore water. The 10 Kings Arc sees her kidnapped until Episode 15, prompting Daichourou's defection to secure her rescue. Later, driven to duel alongside Joe and friends in a tournament, she learns Duel Masters fundamentals from Gaiahazard and Minomaru. Despite initial inexperience, she demonstrates strategic aptitude—combining "Endless Frozen Carnival" and "Diamond Crevasse" against Joe—and evolves her deck from a Light/Water/Nature Snow Faeries build to a Darkness Nature Fushigiverse deck.

Her relationship with Joe Kirifuda remains central. She accompanies him to events like school hobby fairs and family picnics, introducing him to her adoptive father. Her development culminates in a resolve to protect both her homeland and human connections, epitomized by exchanged keepsakes with Joe and sustained alliances with Boltz and Kira.
