Sakura is a minor spirit residing at the Ministry of Spirit Affairs alongside Kiri. This childlike companion possesses a grotesque yet cute appearance, resembling "mal-formed vegetables on legs." Visually, Sakura is diminutive with simple, rounded features.

Their behavior reflects a playful, innocent nature. Sakura engages in activities like learning vocabulary from Susukihotaru and flying kites with Kei Agemaki in the ministry courtyard. Sakura shares a close bond with Kiri, often appearing together as a pair. Their interactions with main characters are generally supportive; they participate in the half-spirit girls' combat rituals by providing cherry blossom branches used in supernatural battles. They also demonstrate trust in human cast members, particularly when seeking help to retrieve stuck kites.
