Chisato Yamane works as a cafe maid alongside her friend Nami Koishikawa. She possesses a kind and supportive nature, acting protectively toward Nami and frequently assisting her through clumsy or embarrassing moments. Chisato harbors early suspicions about their cafe manager, which are later confirmed when his true demonic identity surfaces.

Chisato secretly operates as an established Sailor Soldier, known as a "Hunter," predating Nami's involvement in the conflict. She transforms using a magical pendant called the "Eye of Lust," gaining supernatural abilities including flight. In her transformed state, she dons a pink uniform and wields specialized batons capable of generating and discharging electricity as her primary weapons; these batons require charging time before use, creating a combat vulnerability.

Concerned for Nami's safety one night, Chisato searches for her. She encounters Nami's brother, Katsuo, learning Nami was attacked. This prompts Chisato to reveal her secret identity by transforming before Katsuo and taking action. She confronts the demon, revealed as their manager Mr. Sasao. Despite utilizing her electric attacks, she is overpowered, captured, and imprisoned within a dark dimensional portal alongside Nami. Both endure captivity and exploitation by the demon clan.

Following their rescue by other Sailor Soldiers and Nami's subsequent defeat of a high-ranking demon, Chisato encourages Nami to formally join their group and continue fighting demons to protect the world. Chisato harbors unspoken romantic feelings for Katsuo, Nami's brother.
