Description
Marco Bellwood holds the position of Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Fairies in the Unified Zesskia Empire. A direct descendant of Hel S. Bellwood, the first fairy scholar and author of the Original Text of fairy lore, this lineage cements his authority on fairy matters and their historical texts.
Marco leads the clandestine religious group Eins Order, orchestrating a long-term plan focused on recovering the nine Black Fairy Tomes. These artifacts contain critical knowledge about fairy possession, central to his ambitions. He directs Dorothea agents and allies to locate the tomes, including instructing Free Underbar and Marlya Noel to investigate Cain Distarol for information on one. His efforts intensify after acquiring six tomes, focusing on deciphering their contents to advance Eins Order's objectives.
He collaborates closely with government and military figures, such as Prime Minister Golbarn Helwise. During meetings addressing malfunctioning artificial fairies, Marco supports decisions to restrict their use at public events. He complies with directives to provide fairy weapons to factions like Schwarz Diese's group, retrieving them from secure vaults. His deputy, Glyph Mercer, assists in these operations, including the elimination of political obstacles like Golbarn Helwise.
After securing all nine Black Fairy Tomes, Marco and Eins Order retreat to their headquarters. Their ultimate plan involves resurrecting a Divine Beast using the fairy organ of Ray Dawn, one of three fairy-possessed individuals crucial to the ritual. Marco acknowledges the convergence of Marlya, Veronica, and Ray in Rondacia as essential for the ritual's success. The resurrection occurs when Glyph implants Ray's fairy organ into a fusion fairy, awakening the Divine Beast. Marco witnesses this event approvingly, viewing the resulting destruction as part of his group's vision. He is obliterated alongside his followers when the Divine Beast attacks Eins Order's headquarters, an outcome he accepts joyfully as a fulfillment of their goals.
Marco possesses no combat abilities or supernatural powers, relying solely on strategic intellect, political influence, and manipulation of allies and institutions to achieve Eins Order's objectives.
