Description
Schwarz Disse served as Duke of Hybranz, one of five dukes crucial to the continent's unification war who received territories from the emperor. He appeared elderly with gray hair and customarily wore a distinctive blue long coat. His personality permitted informality with former subordinates; he allowed Nein Auler to use his name instead of his title during an investigation discussion, though she retained formal address due to their past working relationship.

Schwarz Disse executed key political maneuvers, including a meeting with Wolfran Row where he questioned Wolfran's life purpose before acknowledging their shared path upon hearing Wolfran choose rebellion. After rescuing Prime Minister Golbarn Helwise, Emperor Castal Harol offered him a wish. Schwarz Disse surprised observers by requesting a Fairy Weapon and received Fratanil—a shield and short sword connected by a chain, originally wielded by Garlan Battle of the Seven Knights.

To obtain Fratanil, he collaborated with Beevee Liscar to ambush the weapon’s transport train. He boarded personally, anticipating conflict while ensuring safety preparations, and sustained minor injuries during the assault. He later initiated rebellion against the Unified Zesskia Empire. His forces advanced undetected toward Rodancia’s Palace via secret tunnels known only to royalty, intelligence sourced from a former royal. Confronting the emperor, Schwarz Disse declared his actions were for the emperor’s sake. He inquired about Wolfran Row’s whereabouts, and Ray Dawn stated Wolfran had served his purpose and departed. Ray Dawn then eliminated Schwarz Disse’s men and defeated him. In his final moments, Schwarz Disse questioned why Ray Dawn served Golbarn Helwise given his power, to which Ray Dawn cited personal dislike before killing him.

An ordinary human without augmented abilities or combat prowess, Schwarz Disse relied exclusively on political influence and strategy. Despite wielding Fratanil, his lack of fighting skill caused his swift defeat by Ray Dawn during the rebellion.
