Prince Chris of Fairyland, operating in the human world under the stage name Wish, is the son of Fairyland's queen. Sent by his mother to prevent Fairyland's extinction, his mission involves collecting vanished "Happiness Tones" and retrieving the magic stones empowering the idol group Lilpri.

As the popular male idol Wish, he maintains a public persona characterized by light blue hair and crimson eyes, performing concerts and endorsing products while concealing his royal lineage. Chris harbors a critical secret: physical exhaustion triggers his transformation into a white rabbit. This condition, resulting from an unspecified past event that cost him his permanent human form, carries the risk of becoming an ordinary rabbit forever if prolonged, stripping him of speech and song.

A special watch from the queen manages his transformations, detects spatial tears in Fairyland, and offers message-recording and hologram-creation functions. His rabbit form dons distinctive attire: a black and yellow hat, a dark green suit with a red bow, and a yellow vest.

Once known for a perpetually charming smile, Chris ceased smiling entirely after gaining his rabbit form. Only encountering Lilpri gradually restores his emotional expressiveness. His secret is shared solely with Vivi, the Fairyland Keeper's Ma-Pet. Though initially disliking Lilpri, Vivi assists Chris in searching for the "Ultimate Shine," a mystical solution believed capable of permanently restoring his human form, using specialized cards to track it.

Chris's journey culminates when Lilpri themselves are revealed as the Ultimate Shine. This discovery allows him to regain his permanent human form, resolving the threat of irreversible rabbit transformation. He continues his career as the idol Wish in the human world while maintaining his identity as Prince Chris of Fairyland.
