Quade, recognized as Bacon in Japanese-language media, commands Team Supreme as a celebrated and formidable Zoid Seeker. He shares an unbreakable bond with his primary Zoid partner, the Zaber Fang. Trained alongside Gallagher under Master Bug, Quade consistently proved superior, repeatedly besting his rival. This relentless defeat fueled Gallagher's obsession for power, driving his rise as Gigaboss, leader of the Dark Metal Empire, and his eventual acquisition of the supreme Zoid, Demise.

Quade's mission focuses on locating the elusive "Ancient Treasure Z." This quest brings him into contact with Arashi, initially drawn by the legendary white lion-type Zoid, Liger, which later becomes Arashi's partner. Prior to the series, Quade encountered key figures including Arashi's father, Salt (also known as Apex or Jasper), and a young girl named Mitsuba. He also met future Team Freedom members Bastion and his sister Raina.

Though not formally aligned with the resistance, Quade actively opposes the Dark Metal Empire's conquests. In a pivotal act of defiance against Gigaboss, he secures one half of a vital hacker key required to control Demise, later entrusting this fragment to Arashi. Quade takes on a mentor role for Arashi, guiding him to master the Wild Blast ability and refine his combat skills, despite occasional clashes in their personalities. He extends an offer for Arashi to join Team Supreme before Arashi forms Team Freedom.

During a critical confrontation in episode 13, Quade battles Gigaboss. Despite defeating Gigaboss's Gilraptor, he falls to his former rival while fighting Demise. Quade's death profoundly impacts Arashi, triggering berserk fury in later clashes. His spirit subsequently appears to allies, enabling Zaber Fang to fight alongside them in ongoing conflicts, such as those beginning in episode 37. Quade's legacy endures through his teachings and the continued efforts of those he influenced to challenge the Dark Metal Empire.
