Michael is one of three rabbits preserved in formalin jars within St. Claire Elementary's science room. Killed, partially flayed, and stored for education, they were revived by the anatomical model Kunstlijk to serve him. The rabbits awoke distressed and immediately rebelled against Kunstlijk, forging their own gangster crew. Michael operates fiercely loyal within this trio alongside Fred and Sonny, aggressively confronting anyone hindering their goals. The group armed themselves, adopting organized crime mannerisms complete with a stereotypical Italian leitmotif. Their tight bond fractured when Kunstlijk's malfunctioning time machine caused Sonny's disappearance. Now, Michael and Fred focus solely on hunting Kunstlijk to recover Sonny or avenge him. Michael's existence embodies body horror, a tragic reanimated specimen forced into violence, his narrative drive fixed on pursuing retribution against Kunstlijk amidst the film's chaotic plot.
