Aqua is a male clownfish Jewelpet from Jewel Land, marked by his orange body, a distinct white stripe along his back, and fins and tail tipped in black. Blue aquamarine gemstones form his eyes, complementing the chain of aquamarine jewels encircling his head. He embodies Satisfaction and Calmness, wielding magic that dispels anger nearby and instills contentment by helping others value what they already have.

His initial appearance occurs in the original Jewelpet series (episode 21), where he partners with Naoto Sakuragi after resolving the boy's anger issues. A recurring trait in this series sees Aqua fly into a rage when mistaken for a goldfish, though this tendency lessens in later appearances. Within Jewelpet Twinkle☆ (episode 22), he acts as the sea's guardian, responsible for cleaning the ocean floor and shielding others from underwater dangers. His role transforms in Jewelpet Sunshine, partnering with Fukaet from an underwater kingdom and actively protecting her from the antagonist Utsuborg.

Aqua narrates episode 15 of Jewelpet Kira☆Deco! without further documented participation in that series. Later, in Jewelpet Happiness (episode 29), he forms a Magic Gem with the human Mutsumi Mochida. His core magical abilities consistently focus on emotional regulation, though secondary descriptions across media sometimes associate him with powers of tranquillity, softness, relaxation, and kindness. Aqua frequently ends sentences with the verbal tic "gyo" and possesses the physical capability to leap out of water for aerial tricks. He remains the only fish species among all Jewelpets.
