Description
Liliruca Arde, born into the Soma Familia, endured neglectful parents who demanded she earn money for them. Following their deaths in the Dungeon, the Familia offered no support, isolating her and subjecting her to mistreatment from other members. This fostered deep resentment toward adventurers, whom she saw as exploitative. Surviving as a supporter brought constant discrimination, reinforcing her negative views. After escaping the Familia and living in hiding, her hatred intensified when the Soma Familia harmed an elderly couple who sheltered her. She then began systematically deceiving and stealing from adventurers she partnered with in the Dungeon.

Petite with chestnut hair and eyes typical of Pallums, Liliruca wears a slightly torn red and white hooded top exposing her midriff, an unbuttoned red skirt, long gloves, torn black tights, and light brown boots. She previously used her transformation magic, Cinder Ella, to disguise herself as other races—like a Chienthrope with dark brown hair, gold eyes, ears, and tail; a Werewolf with wolf features; or an Elf with golden hair and pointed ears—to evade the Soma Familia and facilitate thefts. She abandoned these disguises after the Familia's reformation and joining the Hestia Familia.

Initially cynical and distrustful, Liliruca used her supporter role to betray adventurers. Her first interactions with Bell Cranel involved deceit, but his consistent kindness—splitting spoils equally and valuing her safety—challenged her prejudices. After Bell saved her from the Soma Familia, she converted to the Hestia Familia, shedding her thieving persona. She developed loyalty and romantic feelings toward Bell, becoming the Familia's treasurer. Past trauma with money and their debt led her to manage finances meticulously, prioritizing frugality and income opportunities. Her strategic acumen earned her the role of the Familia's "brains," planning tactics, navigating Dungeon expeditions, and coordinating allies during conflicts like the War Game. Though logical and cautious—sometimes appearing cold, as when opposing rescuing Haruhime or sheltering Wiene to protect the Familia—her decisions stem from pragmatism. She addresses others respectfully, a habit from enduring discrimination, and her insights allow quick analysis of adversaries' behaviors.

Liliruca's combat abilities are limited by her support focus. As a Level 2 adventurer, her physical prowess exceeds normal humans but remains modest for her level. She relies on ranged attacks with her crossbow, Sciurus Walnut, using it for precise sniping and rapid shots. Her Pallum heritage grants naturally enhanced eyesight, improved further by her falna, aiding her in low-light environments. She supplements combat with items like poison bags and basic knife skills learned from observing Bell. Her key magic is Cinder Ella, allowing her to transform into beings of similar size, copying physical traits like Beast Humans' senses, though constrained by her status. The transformation breaks if struck and requires clear mental imagery. Her Skills include Artel Assist, easing heavy load carrying, and Command Call, extending her command range in battle depending on shouting volume and level. Her Development Ability, Abnormal Resistance, nullifies effects like poison. She trained under Finn Deimne to refine her tactical leadership.

Across events, Liliruca evolved from a solitary thief to a trusted Hestia Familia member, driven by Bell's influence. By the Xenos arc, she led strategies during high-stakes conflicts, demonstrating enhanced confidence and resourcefulness. In later seasons, she managed expedition logistics and provided emotional support for Bell, balancing caution with familial loyalty. Her tactical role expanded commanding alliance forces during the War Game against the Freya Familia with guidance from veteran mentors. Her journey reflects continuous evolution from isolation to integral leadership within the Familia.
