Kenta lives as an orphan at Chibikko House, the childhood home of the original Tiger Mask, Naoto Date. As a young boy, Kenta idolizes Tiger Mask's villainous persona during the wrestler's American heel phase, not knowing his hero is actually Naoto. Inspired, Kenta voices his ambition to grow up and become a "bad guy" wrestler just like Tiger Mask. When Tiger Mask visits the orphanage wrestling in Japan and hears Kenta's aspiration, it sparks a deep moral crisis within him. Confronted by the negative influence his villainous actions have on an impressionable child like Kenta, Tiger Mask renounces his heel identity. He abandons the criminal Tiger's Den organization and commits to wrestling honorably, dedicating his earnings to support Chibikko House. Kenta's innocent admiration directly triggers Tiger Mask's transformation from antagonist to hero.
