Ayame holds the position of Head Chief for the Biotope division within the International Gourmet Organization (IGO). Her duties focus on managing and preserving rare species and ecosystems vital to gourmet ingredients. The IGO entrusts her with a critical mission: locating the legendary Gourmet God Acacia's hidden full-course menu, the "Special Menu." This task necessitates direct collaboration with the gourmet hunter Toriko.

Ayame joins Toriko, his partner Komatsu, and fellow Heavenly Kings Zebra, Sunny, and Coco on an expedition into the hazardous Hungry Triangle region. Their goal is to uncover the secret menu detailing Acacia's complete meal. The journey leads them to the island designated "Acacia's Kitchen," where they encounter a diverse array of rare and formidable entities, including unique animal species, Regal Mammoths, hostile monsters, ancient ruins, and a massive refrigerator structure.

Exploring the island's ruins alongside Toriko, Ayame confronts Girim, formerly a Special Cooking Adviser for the rival Bishokukai organization. This encounter escalates into a broader battle involving additional adversaries: three sous chefs and a new GT Robo model. Ayame participates directly in this critical and dangerous phase of the mission.
