His co-presenter Ann frequently interrupts or overshadows him during commentary, visibly dejecting him. He maintains neutral commentary, showing no participant favoritism. He remains unaware Buena Festa engineered the festival as a trap to lure pirates and becomes intensely angry upon discovering Festa's collaboration with the Marines to betray attendees. His hosting duties include welcoming attendees, introducing Ann to demonstrate her Bijo Bijo no Mi illusion abilities, and explaining the event rules before presenting the treasure hunt on a floating island accessed via a Knock Up Stream.
