Three years prior to the story, she met Teruto and Sakura, forming a trio where she embraced the "kid sister" role. This dynamic allowed her to find enjoyment in life despite ongoing challenges. She currently lives at a hideout with classmates. The collapse of Neo Kyoto and the ensuing harsh conditions fundamentally changed her, resulting in a noticeably cooler and more reserved demeanor compared to her past self.

In combat, Iris wields the white Palhdora as both her Ace and Territory within the Build Divide card game. Her strategy focuses on auras and command-based tactics. During the narrative's final episodes, she actively participates in pivotal battles, deploying her signature aura-focused techniques.

Her prominence extends to the Build Divide TCG, where she is featured as a card embodying her command strategy specialization. A specific limited-edition Ultra Rare card, titled "Iris, the Flapping Wings of the Nine Dragons," was released with an alternate-art illustration.
