Description
Originally a Zentradi ace pilot from the Meltrandi faction designated Milia 639 in the film continuity, the character consistently identified as Milia Fallyna Jenius piloted the formidable Queadluun-Rau battle suit during Space War I, establishing her reputation as a feared combatant. Her path shifted dramatically when defeated in battle by human pilot Maximilian Jenius. Micronizing to infiltrate the SDF-1 Macross, she later recognized Max as her conqueror during a confrontation at an arcade, where he bested her in a Valkyrie simulation game. This encounter ignited a romance leading to marriage – the first interspecies union between a human and a Zentradi, marking a crucial step toward peace.

Post-war, Milia transitioned to flying United Nations Spacy variable fighters, famously piloting a red VF-1J Valkyrie. By 2045, she governed City 7 within the 37th Colonial Fleet, adopting the title "President," while Max commanded the Battle 7. Their marriage endured significant strain under the pressures of their high-profile roles as symbols of unity and conflicting duties, resulting in a private separation despite an ambiguous official status. Milia became an intensely strict and overprotective mother to their youngest daughter, Mylene Flare Jenius, employing surveillance and matchmaking attempts.

Her piloting career within the fleet continued, advancing through increasingly sophisticated variable fighters, each custom-painted in her signature red: the VF-1J, a VF-11B Thunderbolt (seen in a Gamlin Kizaki flashback), a VF-17S Nightmare, and finally a VF-22S Sturmvogel II. Beyond politics and combat, she served as a demanding flight instructor; Gamlin secured his graduation only after surviving the extreme conditions of her punishing high-altitude test flight.

Reconciliation with Max eventually followed, aided by Mylene. Milia's evolution spanned from a fierce warrior embodying Zentradi militarism to a political leader grappling with human society and family intricacies. Occasional flashes of her spirited heritage surfaced, alongside participation in cultural activities like singing enka at a festival. Her legacy includes daughters with Max, all sharing the initials "M.F.J.": Komilia Maria Fallyna Jenius (their firstborn, a half-Meltrandi, half-human child from earlier timelines), Mylene Flare Jenius, and Mirage Farina Jenius.
