Description
Shark was a modified human operative of the secretive Union organization. He belonged to the DA-5 special forces unit, established by Dr. Aris and commanded by Kranz. Visually, he possessed curly black hair and carried a frequently sinister expression; his facial design hinted at partial inspiration from Marilyn Manson.

His personality exuded brutality, sadism, and arrogance. Shark reveled in killing humans and maintained a persistently bullying demeanor. This bloodthirsty nature made him detestable to teammates like Tao and Takeo. His sanctioned actions included systematically eliminating every human contact Takeo had established during earlier missions, under explicit orders from Kranz.

Shark's arc initiated with a mission where he intentionally allowed a captive to escape, seeking to prolong the hunt for his own enjoyment—a choice that earned Kranz's disapproval. Later, during a Korean investigation, he confronted the modified human M-21 and clashed with the noble Regis. This encounter resulted in his humiliation and ignited a fierce desire for revenge. Shark routinely assaulted M-21 during interrogations and specifically targeted human children linked to Union members, including Shinwoo and Yuna.

In combat, he specialized in close-quarters engagements, wielding sharp weapons like small daggers and throwing knives. Like his DA-5 comrades, he utilized the stimulant drug "D" for temporary physical enhancement. Despite this augmentation, he proved consistently outmatched by Regis and later by Raizel. During a confrontation at the DA-5 base, Raizel immobilized him through mind control, stating, "Neither did I give you permission to breathe." When Kranz ordered Shark to ingest "D" as a countermeasure, Kranz instead absorbed him as an energy source. Shark's drained corpse was subsequently obliterated by Kranz's Blood Field ability.

Beyond the main narrative, Shark does not appear in any spin-offs or ancillary media, including *Rai's Adventure*, *Noblesse S*, the *Beginning of Destruction* OVA, or the *Awakening* OVA.
