Mark Twain's original novel *Adventures of Huckleberry Finn* includes two con artists: one posing as a duke and another claiming to be the "King," the Dauphin of France. While these literary figures are documented, the 1991 anime film *Huckleberry no Bōken* contains no reference to the "King" character in its cast listings, plot summaries, or production materials. Similarly, other anime adaptations of the story—such as the 1976 television series—omit any mention of this persona across available records.
