Description
Shion Kujō is one of four high school students stranded on a remote island after a plane crash. Hailing from an affluent background, she lives with her parents and her Borzoi dog, Arnold. Her wealthy upbringing left her unaccustomed to hardship, sparking initial struggles with camp life and frequent complaints that sometimes led to embarrassing situations.

Physically, Shion possesses long blonde hair secured with red clips, violet eyes, and pale skin she meticulously maintains. She stands 157 cm tall with a D-cup bust. Her standard attire is her school uniform: a long-sleeved white shirt, light brown coat, red tie, navy blue skirt, and long white thigh-high socks. A distinctive personal detail is her underwear, embroidered with her name and repaired by her own hand after tearing.

Initially self-centered and distrustful, especially toward Homare Onishima whose survival methods she deemed harsh, Shion demanded comforts like gourmet French rabbit meals and cleanliness measures that inadvertently spurred innovations like a makeshift shower. She often refused tasks she considered beneath her status. A pivotal moment occurred when her actions directly caused Homare's injury, prompting profound remorse. Shion sincerely apologized and committed to changing, actively working to become a helpful group member.

Her development fostered deep admiration and affection for Homare, whom she later called "my dear" and desired to stay with even if separated from others. She grew fiercely loyal and protective, exhibiting strong emotional reactions to Homare's danger. Shion's insistence on maintaining cultural standards and femininity—upholding cleanliness, crafting accessories like bracelets, and fostering normalcy—provided emotional support and comfort. Her optimism and occasional whimsy, such as proposing to name the island "Kujō Island," catalyzed practical improvements in living conditions and preserved morale.

Despite lacking initial survival skills, Shion possesses excellent fine motor skills and dexterity. She successfully crafted a stone knife after others failed, showcasing superior manual precision. Over time, she applied these abilities to create essential baskets, fishing hooks, and tools. Under Homare’s guidance, she became competent at fishing. Her contributions evolved from merely watching the campfire to performing integral tasks requiring meticulous handiwork and repair.

Shion expresses gratitude or affection through physical openness, often hugging Homare. She is easily embarrassed by failures in simple tasks. Her birthdate is August 27. While she struggles with swimming, her blend of sheltered upbringing, gradual resilience, and unexpected resourcefulness highlights her role in balancing practicality with emotional sustenance during their ordeal.
