Description
Lico, also known as Riko, is a fox demon working as both a waitress and chef at the Asura Cafe. She sports pale light blue neck-length hair with visible fox ears, frequently securing her side bangs with a blue ribbon. Her standard uniform consists of a white dress shirt, a blue apron, a dark blue skirt, and black shoes. Lico can shift her form into that of a small white fox, roughly cat-sized.
Previously homeless or orphaned, she was entrusted to Shirosawa by Sakura Chiyoda. Sakura had aided Shirosawa in enhancing the passover barrier at his cafe while cautioning him about an approaching disaster. Noticing Lico’s culinary talent, Sakura urged Shirosawa to employ her.
Lico displays a laid-back, independent nature, acting on personal whims regardless of social norms. Despite this, she remains inherently kind and devoid of arrogance. She habitually uses the honorific "han" for others, like calling Yuko Yoshida "Yuko-han." Secretly, she holds romantic feelings for Shirosawa, though he fixates on other tapirs. At times, she enchants food consumers using magical leaves. Her favorite dish is inarizushi—sushi rice wrapped in fried tofu—a nod to the fox deity Inari.
Lico debuted in the manga’s Chapter 34 and the anime’s Season 2 Episode 4. A fox demon resembling her appeared briefly in Season 1 Episode 12, though it is ambiguous whether this was Lico or another entity.
