Description
Tilarna Exedilica, whose full name is Tilarna Barsh Mirvor Imsedalya Lyeh Tebreina Devol Nelano Seiya Nel Exedilica, is a noble knight from the otherworldly realm of Reto Semani. She arrived on Earth through a hyperspace gate, violating the treaty between her people and Earth, on a mission to rescue a kidnapped fairy citizen.
In her youth, she became lost in a forest and was guided home by a fairy noble named Leahlah, forging a strong bond and a pact of mutual aid that directly motivated her quest to Earth.
Her appearance is marked by pale white skin, blue eyes, and long light-blond hair arranged in a twin ponytail secured by two gold orbs, with a separate braid on the front top left of her head. A distinct red symbol graces her forehead, and she has curved, elf-like ears. She typically wears a red winged hat, a red and white trimmed outfit, a gold bracelet on her right arm and a bronze one on her left, a sash with white spirals, a brown belt with a flower-shaped buckle, a green side skirt, and white strappy shoes. She is rarely seen without her sword.
Tilarna speaks in an eloquent and often pretentious manner, displaying a haughty attitude toward humans and their world, which she deems less sophisticated. She acts on impulse and lacks common knowledge of Earth's technology, social customs, and etiquette, reacting with unfamiliarity to photographs and horror to pornography. Her worldview is rigid, seeing situations in strict terms of right and wrong, and she struggles to comprehend the complexities of Earth's criminal justice system.
As a knight of the prestigious Knights of Mirvor, she is a highly skilled swordsman versed in her world's magic system, mildey. She can cast spells and detect the scent of latent magic, or latana. One of her showcased abilities involves evoking a war god to transform her regular clothing into protective armor for battle.
Her relationship with Detective Kei Matoba, her assigned partner on Earth, begins contentiously due to cultural differences and her condescending attitude. Over time, she develops a deep respect and fondness for him. This partnership catalyzes her character development, leading her to gain a more understanding perspective on human society and the nuances of justice. Her growth is evidenced by her decision to remain on Earth and continue working with its law enforcement to combat crime and racism.
Her status as a noble is indicated by her extensive full name, and she believes the length of one's name correlates to social standing. By her homeland's reckoning, she is 26 years old, equivalent to approximately 18 Earth years.
She carries a brooch given by her mother, a personal item signifying her heritage. Her unfamiliarity with Earth technology leads to mishaps, notably a tendency to drive vehicles recklessly, resulting in the destruction of at least two of Kei Matoba's cars—an activity she finds exhilarating.
