Lip is a teenage girl with long blonde hair that falls to her hips and striking blue eyes. As the series' protagonist, she travels across the land to enter high-stakes races, piloting her distinctive three-wheeler vehicle, the Mach Pink. She is occasionally aided in these endeavors by a sidekick named Nuts.
