Kana, also known as Yeo Goseng, is a Regular and Light Bearer on Team Tangsooyook. She consistently wears large, round glasses covering half her face and ties her hair in a ponytail. Sharing the family name "Yeo" and generation name "Seng" with Yeo Miseng, Kana belongs to the same lineage, though they are not sisters. She acts as a protective guardian to Miseng, shielding her from danger and offering comfort, a role that extends to her generally mature and responsible attitude towards the whole team. Kana first appears during the 20th Floor screening test, entering the testing room eighth. She immediately intervenes to protect Miseng from an attack by Ja Wangnan. Throughout tests like the "Untrustworthy Room" game, she demonstrates strategic thinking, recruiting Wangnan and coordinating teammates to secure objectives, her cautious and determined approach contrasting with Wangnan's impulsiveness. Her Light Bearer specialty is Lighthouse Flow Control, enabling her to operate at least four Lighthouses simultaneously. She employs a technique called Centripetal Pressure Control, positioning one Lighthouse centrally surrounded by three others to immobilize multiple weaker enemies. During the 30th Floor Workshop Battle, Kana participates in events such as the "Plug" competition. Kang Horyang protects her from hostile Regulars, highlighting their developing bond, noted by others. They share a dance at an after-party where Horyang confides personal doubts about his past. After the Workshop Battle, Cassano steals the devil fragment from Horyang, plunging him into a coma. Kana stays behind to care for him, selectively informing teammates about his condition to prevent wider alarm while the others continue climbing the Tower, demonstrating her loyalty and sense of responsibility. Kana occasionally expresses a desire for her team to abandon the Tower's climb and live peacefully together, a sentiment contrasting with her consistent support for the team's goals during critical missions.
