TV-Series
Description
Jin, a human student, uncovers his heritage as a DemiKid—a half-demon hybrid capable of summoning and commanding demons. His fascination with demonology drives him to experiment with summoning rituals using the mysterious "Akuma Compendium" (or "Great Demon Encyclopedia") found in the school library, aided by friends Akira and Lena. This ritual awakens his latent powers and transports them to the demon world Valhalla, where he bonds with a Sol Lion named Rand, his primary demon companion.

His personality radiates high energy and impulsiveness, marked by overt emotional expression, especially concerning his friends' safety. He possesses a strong sense of justice and protectiveness, often acting before considering consequences. Jin exhibits near-obsessive enthusiasm for demon-related activities, including the game "Battlenet," and frequently boasts about his demons' capabilities.

Arriving in Valhalla during the initial storyline (Light Version/Dark Version and anime adaptation Light & Dark), Jin joins Drail and Shin's rebels against Imperius's tyrannical Imperium army. His mission involves gathering Time Chains to seal destructive Time Rifts threatening his home world, Rem. He learns that altering timelines can create desolate futures, necessitating corrective actions like planting a symbolic tree to ensure positive outcomes. Key events include preventing Shin from assassinating Lucifer via time travel and witnessing the deaths of friends Lena and Amy, though both are later restored.

Jin returns as protagonist in Fire Book, investigating an angel-demon conflict triggering Armageddon on Earth. Partnered with Rand, he travels to the angelic realm Tenkai to uncover the cause of widespread kidnappings, including Lena's, confronting figures like the Flame Apostle and Ice Apostle. In Ice Book, he serves as a major counterpart to Akira, who ventures to the demon world Makai.

Messiah Riser features Jin and Akira as co-protagonists, tasked by Amy to retrieve Messiah Stones and reseal a powerful demon threatening Valhalla, with Rand central to the quest. His role in Puzzle de Call! is minor; he and Akira are captured off-screen, prompting Rand and Gale to lead a rescue.

Throughout his journeys, key relationships define his support: Akira acts as his strategic counterpart, diverging in paths but sharing goals; Lena represents his human connections, often needing protection; Amy provides guidance as a Valhalla native; and Rand remains his loyal, evolving demon partner. Manga adaptations specify his alignment as Law-Light.
