Description
Hijiri Himuro reigned as a top-ranked Prism Star representing Edel Rose Academy. His fiercest rivals were street dancer Rei Kurokawa and Jin Norizuki, son of Edel Rose's former supervisor. At the Prism King Cup, Jin sabotaged Hijiri's jump, causing him to fall through cracked ice. This resulted in a severe leg injury that permanently ended his competitive career.

After retiring from performing, Hijiri assumed leadership, becoming chairman of the Prism Show Association. Concerned by declining public interest, he recognized the revitalizing potential of "Prism Lives" – a new style incorporating live instrumentation pioneered by Naru Ayase. He advocated for including Prism Lives in official scoring systems, helping renew audience engagement.

Hijiri's personal life centered on his relationship with reigning Prism Queen, June Amou. He fell in love with her instantly, partly because her appearance recalled his late mother, Maria Himuro. Their bond deepened, complicated when June defied Prism World rules to stay on Earth with him. After June lost her memories and relinquished her title, Hijiri confessed his feelings again. He later became supervisor of Edel Rose, replacing the ousted Jin Norizuki. In this role, he implemented a philosophy focused on collaboration and mutual support, contrasting sharply with Jin's previous emphasis on ruthless competition.

Within the expanded *King of Prism* spin-off media, set after *Rainbow Live*, Hijiri continues as Edel Rose supervisor, mentoring the new generation of male Prism Stars, including the group Septentrion. A teaser for *King of Prism: Your Endless Call* suggests he appears alongside Jin and Rei in a flashback or time-travel narrative, depicted during their active years as Prism Stars.
