Description
Alexander Yamato, formally written as 大和アレクサンダー (Yamato Arekusanda), hails from Kanagawa Prefecture. Born June 6, 1999, he is 16 during the first film and ages to 16-17 in later stories such as *Shiny Seven Stars*. A first-year high school student at Schwarz Rose, he performs under the Thunder brand. Standing 190 cm tall with a muscular frame and dark skin, his appearance features short green hair shaved on the sides, violet eyes, four left ear piercings, three right ear piercings, and a neck chain; he possessed blond hair and fair skin as a child.

His personality is fiercely aggressive, competitive, and quick-tempered, especially concerning street-style Prism Shows. He vocally champions street style as superior and harbors deep contempt for idol-centric academy-style performances, earning him the titles "Prism Show vandalist" and "Street Tyrant." Beneath this combative exterior lies a timid, polite side occasionally shown to those he respects, like Rei Kurokawa. He maintains a rivalry with Kazuki Nishina, seeing him as competition for "street charisma," and clashes mutually with Taiga Kougami due to opposing personalities.

As a Prism Star at rival institution Schwarz Rose, Alexander challenges Kazuki Nishina over Kazuki's switch from street to academy style. Their Prism Show battle, set to "EZ DO DANCE" using Kakeru Juuouin's technology, ends in a draw. Later, during *Pride the Hero*, Kazuki demonstrates to Alexander and Taiga that captivating the audience matters more than performance style, hinting at a shift in Alexander's rigid stance. He owns a Pair Friend dragon named Dorachi. By Episode 12 of *Shiny Seven Stars*, he begins working at Prism Stone.

His name holds meaning: "Alexander" (Greek for "defender of the people" or "protector of men") and "Yamato" (combining the Japanese characters 大 "big/great" and 和 "harmony/peace"). He shares a birthday with *PriPara*'s Aroma Kurosu. Songs he performs include "EZ DO DANCE ~K.O.P. REMIX~," "EZ DO DANCE ~Thunderstorm ver.~," "Masquerade," "Survival dAnce ~no no cry more~," "Silver and Gold Dance," and "Starved For You."
