Hikage is a Third Generation pyrokinetic from Asakusa serving as a Fire Soldier in Special Fire Force Company 7 with her twin sister, Hinata. Her black hair is gathered in a back bubble ponytail and brushed to the left side of her face, differing from Hinata's style. She wears a black kimono featuring a blue stripe across the waist to signify her brigade and flame patterns on the sleeves. Exhibiting a jolly and mischievous personality, Hikage often uses mean-spirited language influenced by Company 7's captain, Benimaru Shinmon. She shares an exceptionally close bond with Hinata, strong enough to detect impostors and avoid internal conflict between them. Hikage dislikes keeping secrets from her sister to prevent causing anger. She demonstrates a pronounced fondness for desserts and sweets, once bargaining her kimono and secrecy for candy during an abduction. Her pyrokinetic ability envelops her body in flames, concealing all but her shins and feet. In this state, her flame-concealed head takes kitsune form with ear-like shapes and facial markings. While her individual strength is unspecified, she and Hinata collaborate effectively to overpower adult opponents, such as overwhelming Tamaki Kotatsu and forcing her to evolve her Nekomata ability to counter them. Hikage first appeared alongside Hinata at Company 7's station, showing excitement when Benimaru brought daifuku. Later, during an impostor incident, she was kidnapped by White Clad operatives but bargained her cooperation by trading her kimono for sweets. Dissatisfied with the amount of candy provided, she attacked her captors and reunited with Hinata. Together, they defeated the operatives upon deeming them "bad people." Following the second Great Cataclysm, Shinra Kusakabe manipulated time to revert the catastrophe and rearrange reality, resulting in Hikage's resurrection.
